However, despite the excellent in-store service from Erik R. who welcomed my family and helped me try on watches, I was deeply disappointed because I didn’t get to walk out of the store with the timepiece I wanted. The lack of accurate online inventory information created an expectation that simply wasn't met, and that's why I felt the need to leave this review and discuss it with customer service.
Customer: I'm really upset. I came all the way to your Palo Alto store expecting to find the watch I saw prominently displayed online, only to be told it wasn't available right then. We do try our best to keep online information current, but with high-demand luxury items, stock can change very quickly. Customer: Quickly isn't the word. It led to a wasted trip and real disappointment. Erik R. in the store was fantastic, he made a wishlist for me, but it doesn't change the fact that I didn’t get to walk out of the store with the timepiece I wanted due to what I believe was poor online representation.
